Policies
Rates are quoted based on maximum room occupancy. Pets are welcome. There is an additional $50 per night stay with a $200/stay maximum, pet charge, per room. Pet must be supervised at all time. Please Note: Beach laws forbid pets on the beach.
Each room comes with a kitchens, cable TV and FREE Wifi. The Driftwood’s lobby/gift shop serves coffee and tea throughout the day for all guests. Located on our back deck are barbecue grills with picnic areas, Adirondack chairs, swings and of course, the sugar white beaches of the Gulf itself. Beach chairs are also available for rent.
Reservations must be secured with a one night’s deposit. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to reservation check-in time. Holiday weekend require a 10-day cancellation notice. Deposits are non-refundable on last minute cancellations and no-shows. There is a 3-month cancellation policy on monthly rentals. All cancellations have a $25 charge back fee. We can not guarantee room requested and reserve the right to move a guest’s room assignment.

Room check in time is 2 p.m. (CST) and check out is 10 a.m. (CST).

Red Crab houses check in time is 4:00 p.m.(CST) and check out time is 12 noon (CST).

Late check-outs will result in an additional nights charge unless cleared with the front desk prior to check-out.
Holiday Craft Fair - October 2023
The Driftwood Inn of Mexico Beach is accepting applications for Crafters and Artist to Participate in the First Annual Holiday Craft Fair

The Event will be held on Small Biz Saturday, November 25th, 2023 from 10am to 5pm Central Standard time. Crafters and Artist are welcome to sign up for a booth to showcase and sell your talent. Entry fee is $40.00 for a spot in our Events room and outside back deck spaces are $20.00 per spot. Tables are available for rent at a cost of $15.00 per table or you are welcome to bring your own set up. Space is limited so don't delay!! Applications can be found on our web site, or stop in The Driftwood Inn front desk to pick up a form. The deadline to participate is November 1st or when spots run out.
Leave No Trace
Mexico Beach is an active turtle nesting area and conservationist want to make sure that they don't disrupt their activities. So the city has implemented Leave No Trace ordinance that does not allow anything to be placed on the beach before 7:00 a.m. (CST) and require everything removed from the beach before 7:00 p.m. (CST). Authorities actively patrols the beach and will remove anything left out.
